About Sky Departure

Sky Departure is an independent guide to Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport. We are travellers from the Costa Blanca who got tired of guessing whether a flight was early, late, or already gone.

How our data works

Our board is built on ADS-B transponder data from the OpenSky Network — the open, community-run air-traffic dataset. When an aircraft reports its arrival or departure at ALC, we match it against the day’s rotation pattern and show it as live. Where coverage is briefly unavailable, we show the published timetable and label it honestly as scheduled. Weather comes from Open-Meteo.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with AENA, the airport, or any airline, and we never pretend to be an official source. For binding information — check-in deadlines, denied boarding, lost property — always confirm with your airline or the airport itself.
